FREEDOM OF SPEECH: The removal of Dr Israr Ahmad YouTube channel is a blatant act of Islamophobia. This extremely popular channel, with millions of subscribers and viewers worldwide, had nothing mischievous about it. Continuous attempts were made over the years to remove this channel by concocting allegations against it. This time, the effort seems to have borne fruits. This is an outright violation of the so-called principles of freedom of expression advocated by the West. If we do not give timely and appropriate response, we should only expect more such steps.

WRONG-WAY DRIVING: The trend of wrong-way driving, also known as counterflow driving, has become common in Karachi. It causes deadly accidents, increases traffic jams and affects the lives of people. Pedestrians are the most affected by these accidents. The major causes of accidents include rash and negligent driving, absence of zebra crossing, installation of fancy grille at major thoroughfares and wrong-way driving. People must follow traffic rules to avoid problems, loss and disturbance.
