Pakistan has reported 189 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, down from 329 a day earlier, and six additional fatalities.

The national positivity rate stands at 0.6 per cent.

The breakdown is as follows:

• Sindh: 82 cases, 1 death
• Punjab: 68 cases
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 22 cases, 5 deaths
• Balochistan: 1 case
• Islamabad: 10 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 5 cases
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 1 case
