QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo on Saturday said that peace and stability in the country is necessary for continuing the journey of development and progress.
Speaking at the Pakistan stability and peace conference, he said security and stability of the country “is our responsibility, which our elders achieved by rendering great sacrifices”.
“We need permanent and lasting peace to bring a positive change and developing our motherland,” Mr Bizenjo said, adding that the achievement of economic goals in this modern age was the only guarantee of sustainable development of a country.
The chief minister said Pakistan had witnessed many ups and downs since its inception, but the people through their joint struggle and unity had foiled all conspiracies hatched by enemies.
