Pakistan has detected 396 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, down from 514 a day earlier and seven more fatalities compared to yesterday's two.

The national positivity rate stands at 1.1 per cent.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

• Sindh: 213 cases
• Punjab: 77 cases, 4 deaths
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 70 cases, 1 death
• Balochistan: 1 case
• Islamabad: 23 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 6 cases
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 6 cases, 2 deaths
