LAHORE, Nov 30: Indian Punjab Chief Minister Amarindar Singh returned home through Wagah on Wednesday afternoon after a two-day stay in Lahore and Nankana Sahib. He was accorded a warm send-off by Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi, members of his cabinet, Speaker Afzal Sahi and senior government officers, including the chief secretary and the IGP.
Both the chief ministers had earlier attended a ceremony in which a gold palki was placed in Nankana Sahib. From there they came directly to the Wagah border by a helicopter.— Staff Reporter
