Pakistan's Covid-19 positivity rate has dropped to 2.1 per cent in the last 24 hours, down from 2.6pc a day earlier.

In the last 24 hours, the country reported 796 new coronavirus cases and 10 more fatalities.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

• Sindh: 299 cases
• Punjab: 191 cases, 5 deaths
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 198 cases, 3 deaths
• Balochistan: 2 cases
• Islamabad: 64 cases, 2 deaths
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 16 cases
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 26 cases
