Pakistan has reported 953 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, marking the sixth straight day that infections have remained below 1,000.

In the last 24 hours, the national positivity rate has been recorded at 2.6 per cent. Another 11 fatalities have also been confirmed, down from 19 a day earlier.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

• Sindh: 410 cases, 3 deaths
• Punjab: 252 cases, 5 deaths
• Khyber Paktunkhwa: 228 cases, 3 deaths
• Balochistan: 4 cases
• Islamabad: 23 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 12 cases
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 24 cases
