Pakistan has reported less than 1,000 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours with 847 new infections.

The country also confirmed 20 additional fatalities.

The national positivity rate has declined to 2.1 per cent.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

• Punjab: 319 cases, 4 deaths
• Sindh: 309 cases, 5 deaths
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 115 cases, 9 deaths
• Islamabad: 52 cases, 2 deaths
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 37 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 12 cases
• Balochistan: 3 cases
