GUJRANWALA: The body of Hamayun Zafar Chatha, a native of Wazirabad, who was murdered in South Africa a week ago, was buried in a Wazirabad graveyard on Wednesday.
Humayun had been working abroad for six years. Last week, local Africans killed him during a robbery, threw the body in the desert and fled.
The Pakistani expatriates in South Africa reported the murder of Chatha to police and also informed his family in Gujranwala. They transported the body to Pakistan, which was buried after family and friends paid their last respects to him.
