The Israeli government is considering lifting requirements for incoming travellers to submit a negative Covid-19 test before boarding a flight to the country, local media has reported.
According to a report by the Times of Israel, anyone travelling to the country right now has to submit either a PCR test report taken 72 hours prior to boarding or a negative antigen test taken 24 hours before travel.
It further said that the lifting of the restrictions would only take place after a week or two once the Covid-19 morbidity levels in Israel decreased.
