China has reported 64 new Covid-19 cases, up from 63 cases a day earlier, the national health authority said.

The National Health Commission said in a statement that 39 of the new cases were locally transmitted and the rest imported, Reuters reported.

The number of new asymptomatic cases, which China does not classify as confirmed cases, was 54 versus 55 a day earlier.
