The government has abolished the Covid-19 booster shot fee for those intending to travel abroad, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of National Health Services (NHS).

The notification, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, states that the NHS ministry's notification dated August 27, 2021 has been withdrawn.

In its August 27 notification, the ministry had fixed the price of a single booster shot against Covid-19 for persons travelling abroad at Rs1,270.
