Pakistan has logged 6,540 new infections in the last 24 hours along with 12 more deaths.

The positivity rate is 11.1 per cent.

The total number of cases has risen to 1,360,019 and the death toll is 29,077.

The breakdown in the last 24 hours is as follows:

• Sindh: 3,541 cases, 3 deaths
• Punjab: 1,456 cases, 4 deaths
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 462 cases, 1 death
• Islamabad: 892 cases, 4 deaths
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 133 cases
• Balochistan: 43 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 13 cases
