Pakistan drawn in group-I of Super League

CHRISTCHURCH, Jan 25: Pool “C” winners Pakistan has been drawn with India, Sri Lanka and West Indies for the Super League of ICC Under 19 World Cup which commences from Sunday.

Group-II comprised of Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa.

After the round robin league contest two top teams will advance in the semi finals which will be played on Feb 3 and 6 respectively with final on Feb 9.

Plate championship matches will be played in Auckland. Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, Kenya and Zimbabwe are drawn in group-I while Canada, Namibia, Nepal and Scotland are drawn in group-II.

Following is programme of the Super League:

Jan 27: India v West Indies, Lincoln Pakistan v Sri Lanka, Lincoln No. 3

Jan 28: Australia v South Africa, Lincoln New Zealand v England, Lincoln No.3

Jan 29: India v Sri Lanka, Lincoln Pakistan vs West Indies, Lincoln Green

Jan 30: New Zealand v South Africa, Lincoln Green Australia v England, Christchurch

Jan 31: India v Pakistan, Lincoln Green Sri Lanka v West Indies, Christchurch

Feb 1: New Zealand v Australia, Christchurch South Africa v England, Lincoln. Super league semifinals.

Feb 3: First semifinal. Feb 6, second semifinal.
