Pakistan has reported 3,571 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, up from 3,015 a day earlier, taking the country's tally to 1,315,834.

The national positivity rate has risen to 7.4 per cent.

The breakdown in the last 24 hours is as follows:

• Sindh: 2,321 cases, 2 deaths
• Punjab: 843 cases, 1 death
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 90 cases, 4 deaths
• Balochistan: 7 cases
• Islamabad: 299 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 4 cases
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 7 cases
