Pakistan reports more than 500 new cases for second day

Pakistan has reported 556 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, marking the second day of more than 500 infections.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

  • Sindh: 339 cases
  • Punjab: 130 cases, 4 deaths
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 32 cases, 2 deaths
  • Balochistan: 5 cases
  • Islamabad: 48 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 2 cases

Gilgit-Baltistan has not confirmed any new cases.
