She said the police were yet to recover the two mobile phones of Rizwan Habib as the information obtained from the phones would be vital and might help the police to trace the murder of Wajiha’s first husband.

She further revealed that Wajiha Swati had been a rich woman, therefore, she wanted to make investment in property in the UAE where she met Rizwan who dealt in property and gradually they married.

When the City Police Officer Sajid Kiani was contacted, he said the accused in the murder case would be produced in the court on Saturday and the police will be seeking extension in the physical remand.

“Motive behind the murder was definitely property,” the CPO said.

He said although the shifting of her body was related to her heirs and the embassy, it would take two to three days to complete the process and shifting of her body to the United States.
