Pakistan has reported 482 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, up from 348 a day earlier, marking the first time in nearly four weeks that daily cases have risen over 400.

The country last reported more than 400 infections on Dec 3.

The countrywide breakdown of cases is as follows:

• Sindh: 285 cases
• Punjab: 110 cases
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 49 cases
• Balochistan: 4 cases
• Islamabad: 31 cases
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 3 cases

In addition, KP also confirmed three more fatalities.

Gilgit-Baltistan has not reported any new cases for the last 10 days.
