The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has allowed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to conduct matches for the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at 100 per cent stadium capacity for fully vaccinated individuals.
The NCOC statement, however, said that the decision could be reviewed depending on the situation of the disease outbreak towards the third week of January 2022.
According to the NCOC guidelines, all age groups are allowed the attend the matches. "However, 12 years and above should be fully vaccinated," it said, adding that the PCB should ensure that invitations/tickets are issued accordingly.
"Strict adherence to Covid protocols (mandatory mask wearing and hand sanitisers etc) by spectators and organisers," the NCOC said. Foolproof security arrangements will be ensured by the PCB in coordination with law enforcement agencies, it added.
