Two children die in wall collapse

BAHAWALNAGAR, Nov 19: Two children of a labourer were buried alive when the wall of a mud house collapsed here on Saturday in Farooqabad locality. Reports said Zahoor Ahmed’s two sons, Muhammad Zafar (9) and Muhammad Ahmad (4), were playing in the street when the wall fell on them. The grandmother of the children also sustained injuries.

ACCIDENTS: Two people were killed and as many injured in three road accidents here on Saturday.

Near Khadimabad Colony, Ghulam Rasool and his brother-in-law Ghulam Qadir were going by a bicycle when a speeding truck hit the two-wheeler, killing the former and injuring the latter.

Meanwhile, a speeding car run over and killed motorcyclist Gulfam at Madina Town, Chishtian Road. In another incident, a speeding truck hit a student, Kabir Shah, on Cantt Road, injuring him seriously. — Correspondent
