LAHORE, Nov 17: Churches throughout the country observed a token protest and prayers day on Thursday to highlight the gro-wing insecurity among minorities and stressed the need for long-term solution of the problems created due to religious intolerance and discriminatory laws.

All the church-run schools and colleges will remain closed and the Christian community in Sangla Hill will observe a day of fasting and prayers on Friday (today).— Reporter
