QUETTA, Nov 17: The Leader of Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly, Mr Kachkol Ali, said on Thursday that the law and order situation in the province was quite bad and the government did not appear to be interested in providing security to people.
He said in a statement that if the federal government was sincere in improving the situation, it must initiate dialogue with genuine political and tribal leaders, including Nawab Akbar Bugti, Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri, Sardar Ataullah Mengal, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Dr Hayee Baloch.
He said it was the government’s responsibility to take steps to ensure the protection of people, he said.
