Finding solace in nature

This is regarding the article “Finding solace in nature” by Abuzer Hassan (YW, October 23). The article suggested that we must maintain a healthy routine.

By maintaining a healthy routine, everything begins to settle down in the right way. I totally agree with the writer that an unhealthy routine can cause several problems in one’s life.

It is not wrong to say that most kids don’t follow a healthy routine. There should be proper timings for meals, studying, playing and family time, but also being closer to nature, observing it and finding solace in it.

In my opinion, children should spend time outdoors, in parks and with nature. Besides playing, they should observe the greenery, plants, trees, birds and how the sky changes its colour during the course of the day.

The human connection

This is with reference to the story “The human connection” by Sarwasha Mairaj (YW, October 9).

The story brilliantly portrayed the significance of human relationships with fellow humans — people around us, whether our friends or family, or even those we meet on daily basis.

We should not rely completely on technology and gadgets to perform most of our daily tasks, which actually is taking us away from real people. As a result, we have poor relations. In the long run, this could lead one to have a lonely and depressing life.

We must know the value of relations and always try to maintain them.

The clown

This is with reference to the story “The clown” by Adeeba Khan (YW, October 23).

The story was very interesting. Honestly, I enjoyed reading the story as it had an amazing lesson on how to overcome one’s fears. It reminds me of the saying “Life begins where fear ends”.

Therefore, we must remain courageous and overcome our fears.

I wholeheartedly appreciate the contributors of YW for writing amazing stories and articles that assist us in overcoming our fears.
