JACOBABAD, Nov 16: An SDO for irrigation and his driver were kidnapped from the Indus Highway near the Raees Abdul Ghani Bhutto village in the jurisdiction of A-section police station of Kandhkot on Wednesday.

SDO Shahnawaz Bhutto was going to Kandhkot in a government vehicle when gunmen intercepted the vehicle and kidnapped him along with Abdul Ghafoor Lohar, the driver.

However, the kidnappers left the vehicle.—BoC
