LARKANA, Nov 16: Two people were gunned down here on Wednesday on the pretext of karo-kari in Shahbaz colony. One Ghous Bakhsh Langah shot dead his unmarried sister Mehnaz, 22, and his relative Maqsood Langah on the pretext of karo-kari.

He later surrendered at the Waleed police station with the gun used in the crime.

He alleged that he had killed his sister and relative after finding them in an objectionable condition in the house.

However, Ali Gohar Langah, father of the deceased boy, in an FIR registered with the police, said that the double murder was no way a karo-kari case.

He said both the deceased had been summoned at the killer’s house for settling certain domestic matters where they were gunned down.
