Pakistan has reported less than 300 Covid-19 cases for the third day in a row with 240 cases in the last 24 hours, down from 263 a day earlier.

Meanwhile, the positivity rate was recorded as 0.73 per cent. The positivity rate has remained below 2pc since Oct 15.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre, 32,466 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The country's caseload has increased to 1,279,876 while the death toll has risen to 28,612 after six more deaths were reported.

The countrywide breakdown during the last 24 hours is as follows:

  • Punjab: 103 cases, 1 death
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 56 cases, 5 deaths
  • Sindh: 50 cases
  • Islamabad: 26 cases
  • Balochistan: 3 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 2 cases
