HYDERABAD, Nov 15: A division bench of the Sindh High Court, Hyderabad, on Tuesday ordered the chairman, administrator, Karachi, and the deputy administrator of the Evacuee Trust Property and the SHO of the Market police station to file their comments in the Ladies Club case by Nov 17. The bench, comprising Justice Mohammad Moosa K. Leghari and Justice Shamsuddin Hisbani, also issued notices to the deputy attorney general, additional advocate general of Sindh.

The notices were issued on a petition filed by Ladies Club general secretary Dr Khurshid Memon, praying the court to declare that premises of the club did not belong to the Evacuee Trust Property and notices issued by the deputy administrator of the ETP, Hyderabad region, on Oct 17 and 18 were without lawful authority and of no legal effect.

She has cited the chairman, administrator, Karachi, and the deputy administrator of the ETP and the Market SHO as respondents.
