FAISALABAD: Traffic police have detected bogus medical certificates submitted by five aspirants for driving licences.

These certificates were detected when DSP Traffic Headquarters Hafiz Ghulam Mohtada checked the files of the aspirants.

Submitting an application to the Rail Bazaar police, the DSP said that on the direction of the CTO he had launched verification of the driving licences and detected that Aqeel Ahmed, Asif Jilani, Nasir Abbas, Irfan Safdar and Kamran had submitted bogus medical certificates.

Police registered cases under sections 420, 468 and 471 of the PPC against them.
