Sindh has detected 555 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the province's tally of infections to 454,307.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office, eight more people succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll to 7,335.

It further said that 20,352 coronavirus patients were under treatment in the province.
