UNITED NATIONS, Nov 8: The lawyers representing the Indian Congress Party have sent a letter to the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, seeking information on basis of which former Indian foreign minister Natwar Singh’s name was included in the list of “non-contractual” beneficiaries in the Iraqi oil for food programme.

“The letter was forwarded to the Independent Inquiry Commission’s office” a UN spokesperson said. — Correspondent
