Sindh has reported 976 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of infections to 441,956, according to a handout from the Chief Minister's Office.

The province has also reported 16 more deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, down from 43 a day earlier. This has taken the total number of fatalities to 7,089.

Moreover, 18,471 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours while the positivity rate was recorded at 5.28 per cent.
