Sindh has detected 1,121 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 435,967.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office, 12 more people succumbed to the coronavirus, taking the province's death toll to 6,944.

Meanwhile, 19,468 people were tested for Covid-19 while the positivity rate stood at 5.8 per cent.
