Punjab has reported 1,718 Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, the highest since May 7 when 1,1817 cases were reported. The province's infection tally now stands at 388,296.

Coronavirus has claimed 53 more lives in the province, raising the death toll to 11,759.
