Punjab has reported 1,516 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours — the highest in over three months with 1700 cases on May 16. The region also reported 33 coronavirus-related fatalities over the past 24 hours.

The total number of infections has now increased to 385,258 while the death toll from the disease now stands at 11,666.
