KASUR, Nov 2: District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ashraf Bhatti awarded 25-year rigorous imprisonment with Rs30,000 fine to an accused in a murder case. Accused Zaffar had killed his brother-in-law Munir following a domestic dispute a year ago.

Meanwhile, Additional Sessions Judge Rao Abdul Jabbar acquitted PML-N ticket-holder Yaqub and nine co-accused in a murder case of Mustafa Abad area. They had been charged with killing their rival Razauddin.—APP
