SAHIWAL, Nov 2: Three people were killed and 13 injured in two road accidents here on Wednesday. Reports said a car (FDS-4304) overturned on Sahiwal-Faisalabad Road as a result of which former councillor Shabbirul Hasan and his aunt, Fakhira Sadiq, were killed on the spot while Amna Bibi, Farzana and a child sustained injuries.

Near Sukh Bias bridge on Sahiwal-Pakpattan Road, a passenger wagon overturned when its tyre burst. Resultantly a passenger, Munir Ahmed, was killed and 10 others suffered injuries.

Police have registered separate cases.
