LAHORE, Nov 2: Robbers shot dead an advocate in Model Town on Thursday. Two armed men barged into the house (133-G Block) of Advocate Anwar Qureshi and opened fire on him on resistance. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

SUICIDE: A 35-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide in Nishtar Colony on Thursday.

Police said that Iqbal Bibi was upset over some domestic issue. On Thursday, she locked herself in a room and hanged herself.
