MIANWALI, Nov 2: A Wild Life department game inspector was allegedly beaten up by some poachers engaged in catching wild ducks with nets in Chashma Barrage reservoirs near Kundian.

With the arrival of winter season, wild ducks migrating from Siberia (Russia) land in the water reservoirs of Chashma and Jinnah barrages. Some fishermen catch these ducks with fishing nets during night hours.
