Scholarship winners’ names announced

PESHAWAR, Oct 31: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad, has announced the names of the students who have won the National Talent Scholarship.

According to a handout, top position holders in the medical group are: Misbah Manzoor, Ambreen Shahzadi, Eraj Khurshid Khan, Irum Shehzadi, Memoona Munawar and Nazia Bibi, whereas in pre-engineering group, Faraan Rashid, Kaleem Iqbal, Mazhar Sher, Qasim Umar Khan and Chaudhry Saad Ghani have been declared successful.

Sabina Farooq, Sumaira Bibi, Musa, Ibtesam Javed and Qaratul Ain Iftikhar have been declared successful in the humanities group, while in general science group the top position holders are: Benish Iftikhar, Mehwish Iftikhar, Sara Syed, Mahnoor Awan and Shaista Aman.

The value of scholarship for resident students (boarders) will be Rs330 per month while to non-resident students (non-boarders) would be awarded Rs300 per month.

An amount of Rs500 would be paid to the students as tuition fee in the government colleges or tuition fee in case of admission to the professional colleges.

The duration of scholarship will be full graduation/professional courses studied by the candidates.
