Pakistan's coronavirus positivity rate has soared to 6.1 per cent over the last 24 hours, the highest since May 21 when it was recorded as 6.44pc. A day earlier, the positivity rate was recorded as 5.2pc.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 37,690 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours of which 2,327 came back positive.
The total number of cases in the country has risen to 983,719 and the death toll is 22,720.
Breakdown of deaths and cases reported on July 15:
- Sindh: 1,466 cases, 25 deaths
- Punjab: 364 cases, 4 deaths
- Islamabad: 183 cases
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 151 cases, 1 death
- Balochistan: 116 cases, 1 death
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 47 cases
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 0 cases
