Pakistan's coronavirus positivity rate has risen to 3.65 per cent over the last 24 hours, the highest since June 4 when it was recorded as 3.82pc.

According to the NCOC, 47,528 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours. The total number of cases in the country has risen to 969,476 and the death toll is 22,520.

Breakdown of deaths and cases reported:

• Sindh: 920 cases, 14 deaths
• Punjab: 206 cases, 7 deaths
• Balochistan: 173 cases, 2 deaths
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 153 cases, 2 deaths
• Islamabad: 141 cases, 1 death
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 83 cases, 1 death
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 61 cases
