HYDERABAD, Oct 28: Activists of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz and the Jeay Sindh Students Federation, including women and children, marched from the sessions court to the press club here on Friday to protest against the arrest of JSMM leaders Muzaffar Bhutto, Sattar Hakro and Zulfiqar Khaskheli.

The wife, sisters and a brother of Mr Bhutto and JSSF leader Sooriah Sindhi led the protest.

They said that the arrested leaders were being held by law-enforcement agencies incommunicado for many days and they had not been produced before any court. They demanded that whereabouts of the leaders should be made public.

A written massage of JSMM chairman Shafi Mohammad Burfat was also read out on the occasion.

He urged party workers to stick to the philosophy of the late G. M. Syed.

He regretted that party vice-chairman Samiullah Kalhoro had been murdered and 18 other leaders had been arrested. He warned that if any harm came to the life of any worker, consequences would be disastrous.
