LAHORE, Oct 25: Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood has said the city district government would ensure enforcement of a one-month ban on kite-flying imposed by the Supreme Court.
Hailing the Supreme Court direction, he told journalists on Tuesday evening that the ban was necessary because kite-flying had become dangerous.
He said arrangements for enforcing a complete ban on kite-flying and related business should be finalized at a meeting of the city district government, police and Lesco officials on Wednesday (today). Teams already constituted for controlling kite-flying would be activated immediately afterwards.
