BAHAWALNAGAR, Oct 25: Police claimed on Tuesday to have killed one of the two dacoits who had escaped from Haroonabad civil court on Monday and arrested the other during an ‘encounter’ near Chak 205, Murad Dahranwala.

A press release said that a joint team of Faqirwali, Haroonabad Sadar, Dahranwala and Chishtian police had chased Riaz Jatt and Aslam Kala. Near the village, the former was killed in an encounter while the latter was arrested.
