GUJRAT: Gojra police have booked three people, including a child, for subjecting a special child to extremely inhuman treatment at Bhalowal village of Malakwal tehsil.
Muhammad Rafique Baloch has lodged a complaint with the Gojra police saying that his nephew Muhammad Akram had gone outside the house on June 7 and one Nawaz Baloch had overpowered his nephew, a special child. He said another child, Ibrahim of the same locality, allegedly urinated into the mouth of his nephew on the direction of Nawaz whereas another suspect Soni Khan had made a video of the incident.
The suspects, he said, later uploaded the TikTok video on social media sites and now they are seeking reconciliation.
Gojra police have registered a case against three suspects under sections 355, 342, 292 and 294 of Pakistan Penal Code and arrested one of them. Further investigation is under way.
CENTRE: Mandi Bahauddin District and Sessions Judge Raja Pervez Akhtar inaugurated a facilitation centre at Malakwal judicial complex on Wednesday.
The centre will facilitate the legal fraternity and litigants to have the attested copies of first information reports, medico-legal certificates and other such documents instead of visiting the police stations or hospitals for the purpose.
The judge also announced establishment of a library for the lawyers at the judicial complex, installation of electricity transformer for the chambers of lawyers, construction of road inside the judicial compound and installation of a water filtration plant at the site. The demands were put by Malakwal Tehsil Bar Association President Ashraf Zia who was also present on the occasion.
