SADIQABAD, Oct 24: Three people bitten by stray dogs have to rush for anti-rabies vaccine in various government health centres only to be informed that they are short of supply.

Rais Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Sadiq and Akbar Chohan were the victims of dog-bite in Mouza Goth Alu near Sanjarpur town.

Initially, they were taken to RHCs and BHCs in adjoining areas, but the vaccine was not available in these centres. Later, they tried their luck at the Sanjarpur hospital, but the situation was no different there.

The area people have demanded that the tehsil council, the district council and health department authorities should ensure anti-rabies and snake-bite vaccines in all health centres.
