KHYBER: A woman and her two sons were killed while three other persons sustained injuries in a road accident in Landi Kotal here on Friday.

Hospital sources said that wife of Sher Azam and her two sons Tayyabullah and Abdullah along with three other persons, including a woman, were brought to the local hospital in critical condition from where they were referred to Peshawar.

They said that the woman and her two sons later succumbed to their injuries. Tayyabullah and Abdullah were students of a local private school.

Police said the accident between two cars occurred due to speeding.
