RESERVES RISE

KARACHI: The foreign exchange reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $272 million to $16.133 billion during the week ended on May 28, announced the central bank on Thursday.

The country’s total forex holdings reached $23.294bn during the week while the reserves of commercial banks were $7.160bn.
