Sindh has reported 914 new coronavirus infections over the last 24 hours, marking the second consecutive day the province detected less than 1,000 cases.

The province's caseload has risen to 318,579. In an update, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 19 people succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 5,039.

During the 24-hour period, 13,398 tests were conducted while 684 more people recovered from the virus.
