The federal health ministry has denied reports regarding the unavailability of Sinopharm vaccine in the country as "completely false".

In a tweet, it said the vaccine is available and is being administered in Pakistan, while process is underway to purchase additional Sinopharm doses.

According to the ministry, those who received a first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine will also receive their second dose of the same vaccine.
